Horizontal Range Bar - Employee Work Tasks
This sample application demonstrates a chart with a single defined Horizontal Bar series. The series contains bars defined as "range" bars, and are used to denote each employees work schedule - as well as, optionally, their work tasks.
Things to note:
This example demonstrates Horizontal Range Bars. Horizontal Range Bars are basic Horizontal Bars, with one exception, one more bit of information has been supplied to one or more SeriesPoints for the series. Horizontal Bars specify only the ending bar point (the bar origin is the start). For Horizontal Range Bars, both an ending point and a starting point are specified.
The "Show Employee Tasks" checkbox at the bottom of the form, informs the application whether to render the range bars according to the employees defined work tasks or not. When the checkbox is checked, each range bar is rendered according to the time required for each task.
The chart Legend is also altered when the "Show Employee Tasks" checkbox is checked. When checked, the task "legend" is supplied to the chart (as opposed to the Series presented in the Legend).
