FOREwORD
The Carniverse is a living world, meaning that it is constantly adapting as mankind presses their war against
the dinosaurs. In the first days nobody knew anything, they merely attempted to run for salvation in an
attempt not to be eaten. In the weeks that followed, as small pockets of humanity began to band together,
the signal from Eden began playing over the airwaves. Even when all communication went dead, the Eden
signal was still there, offering hope to any who could hear it.
And that’s when people’s attitudes changed, they no longer were just trying to survive, but instead they
began working towards something. Eden offered a promise of safety that existed nowhere else within the
new world, but not everyone believed in it. And what they are trying to cure remained hidden.
Rumors of Eden being false have begun to spread. Stories surfaced of survivors finding the military
complex and discovering it abandoned, or even worse, overrun. Others claim to have been in radio contact
with Eden, and most rational people are beginning to think those stories are highly unlikely. But like any
story being passed around these days, it’s hard to know who to trust, and what to believe.
The signal still plays, so that means somewhere has power, and that somewhere surely has something to
offer if it can be found.
This series of small expansions is to provide additional narrative depth to your Carniverse campaigns. It
was always intended to offer small expansions in between the larger books as a way to keep the game
world fresh and ever expanding. This first expansion for instance was almost entirely conceived before
the original Carniverse Core Rulebook even launched.
The Carniverse game world is set to change in many ways before it reaches its culmination. As the war
against the dinosaurs wages onwards to new places, so too will the rules and options that are available to
players.
We hope you embrace these changes, as they offer many amazing layers to the game, and to the
experiences you will have while playing it.

I Heard a
Story
I ran into this woman a few weeks
back. She had ice in her veins,
stone cold that one. Camped with
her along the road for a few days
before going our own ways. Kind
of glad about that. She was a
looker sure, but she scared the
shit out of me man.
The rest of us go around this
place with our head on a swivel,
afraid to even fucking blink,
and this chick man, she kept her
rifle slung on her back, none of
her gear tied up, just left it
dangling and clanging around and
shit, and she just read a book
while we walked.
How in the fuck do you survive
doing that shit? But that wasn’t
even the freakiest part about
her, no man, her story is what
gave me the chills.
Said she’d been inside Eden.
Said that shit was a cemetery,
nothing there, just carnage. Way
she tells it, she spent some time
in that place, trying to see if
she could find the signal and
shut it off before anyone else
came that far for nothing.
The entire complex just had
relays going through it, further
and further into the mountain,
just echoing that same garbage
across the airwave’s day in and
day out.
Says
she found some really
strange things in that place too
man.
Files and records
and
things like that you know? Spoke
of people moving things with
their minds, and tech manuals
about flying fucking robots and
shit.
But the kicker? Fuck man. She
says she found records about
people who could control the
dinosaurs. Think on that shit
bro. People that could use these
things as fucking pets!
The night before she headed off
on her own and left me sitting
there wondering what the fuck
just happened, she said she made
it to the other side of the base.
After two days of her talking
about going deeper and deeper
into a mountain and then this.
The other side.
What the fuck does that mean bro?
I know one thing; I’m going to
find the fuck out. Better than
sitting in this shithole ya? If
she can do it, sure as fuck I
can.
What? What book was she reading?
