1.Preface
We would like to thank you for buying our product.
We care a lot about our customers therefore if you have any problems with our product, which aren't described in FAQ or Troubleshooting part of this documentation please feel free to contact us and let us help you.

This document will allow you to learn more about Cosmic Fighters, created by Bitween S.R.L.
It contains several chapters, which describe various parts of our game.

2.Installing game
Before installing the game , make sure that you are able to install the game with the PC Suite and/or via Infrared or Bluetooth on the device.
If you are not familiar with this tools , please refer to Nokia website: www.forum.nokia.com to have instruction to how to load an application in the mobile phone.
First of all, please make sure that you're installing Cosmic Fighters version for your phone.
Currently there are two versions. One for 9200 Communicator series of phones and one for Series60 phones (3650 and 7650 mobile phone).
For Communicator phones please install files from cf9210.zip.
For Series60 phones (Nokia 7650/36500 please install files from cf7650.zip.
Once you have finished installation process you're ready to run Cosmic Fighters.
The game needs to be registered, you can request your unlock software once you have buyed the application simply sending the code show in this Picture to our E-mail registration system:
If you don't have one please visit our site (www.bitween.com) for information regarding how to buy one.
If you fail to enter correct registration code you will be allowed to use our game for a short test period. If you do have registration code and it doesn't work please contact us at cf@bitween.com
After registration screen you will see main menu of Cosmic Fighters.
IMPORTANT!
For installation process you will need up to 2.3 Mb of free space for the 9200 series and 1.8MB of free space for the Series60 (7650 and 3650)
Our game uses a lot of system resources and it can fail to start and/or crash or strange behavior if those resources are not available.
We strongly recommend that you close all other CPU or memory intensive applications.
3.Main menu
After running Cosmic Fighters you will be taken to Main menu. You can move by using up/down arrow keys and enter/joystick button.
First menu consist of several options. Below we describe them briefly:
- Start game - lets you start a new game. You have to choose difficulty level and type of game (tournament, single fight, practice)
- Options - please refer to chapter 4 - Options menu
- High scores - lets you see your current high-scores
- Credits
- Exit game - exits from this game
4.Options menu
In this menu you can change few important options that describe game behavior.
Controls submenu allows you to change keys to steer your character. For a better description of keys available in game please refer to chapter 5 - Playing game.
To change a key please move selection to key that you wish to change and press enter/joystick button. Selected text should be red now and your phone is waiting for a key to be entered. If you press a key recognized by Cosmic Fighters it will be used from now on to perform selected type of action.
Please take note that you can select one key for few different actions.
Cosmic Fighters recognizes all keys brightened on above picture
Language submenu allows you to choose messages language. To do so you only have to select the language of your choice and press enter/joystick button. From now on all messages will be translated to the language of your choice.
Sound volume submenu allows you to change sound volume. Please use louder/not so loud options to change sound volume.
7650 this option allows you to turn on/off 7650 blocking keys mode. For more information please refer to chapter 5 - Playing game.
5.Playing game
To start a new game you have to choose Start game option from main menu.
Next you have to choose difficulty level. There are three options available - easy,medium and hard.
Next menu screen will allow you to choose game mode. Below you can find a short description of each mode:
- Tournament - in this mode you play a tournament in which you have to fight against all enemies.
- Single Fight - In this mode you can choose both your character and enemy character and fight a single fight.
- Practice - this is special mode that allows you to learn everything about Cosmic Fighters. From basic moves to complicated combo attacks.
After selecting your and enemy character fight will begin. Example screenshots are shown below.
In game there are several information displayed on screen.
1.amount of your energy.
2.amount of enemy energy
3.fight time left
4.your score
5.your enemy score
6.your combo hits
7.your enemy combo hits
8.amount of rounds won by you
9.amount of rounds won by your enemy
10.arrows telling you where your enemy is (only in 7650 version)
To move your character you will use left/right/up/down keys chosen in controls menu. To perform attacks and special moves you will additionally use action1, action2 and action3 keys.
To exit fight you can use escape key

To pause/unpause game you can use pause key

Basic moves available during fight:
-move left - left key
-move right - right key
-jump - up-left,up,up-right (if 7650 is on you press enter and action1 key to jump left, action2 key to jump up, action3 key to jump right)
-turn back - backward arrow and action3 key
-turn back while kneeing - backward+down arrow and action3 key (if 7650 is on you press down arrow+action1,action2,action3 keys)
-fast attack - action1
-strong attcak - action2
-block - action3
Each character has got additionally several special moves.
6.Tips and hints
Please visit our site www.bitween.com to update the games in network mode , this will ready in a couple of week maximum.
7.FAQ
· My 9210 version don’t want to start or give me an error why ?
Some older model don’t have the Audio Stream support included , please install it vefore running Comsic Fighters (Audiostream_backport.SIS) .
After Audio Stream support installation you have to reset your phone to activate it.
The easiest way to reset your phone is to remove the batteries for a moment..
· What’s happen if one of the Audio Stream will tell me that is already present in the device ?
DO NOT REMOVE OR RE-INSTALL THE LIBRARY AGAIN, JUST SKIP THE PROCESS.
8.Troubleshooting
1. If you cannot load the game by infrared , we strongly recommend to use PC Suite from Nokia downloadable from the site directly: www.forum.nokia.com under download section.
The games will takes approximately 950Kb of resources , but in game of course about 1.5 Mb more
or less , so we strongly suggest to free some space especially in 7650 model.
2. In some rare cases the 7650/3650 version will not start with sound this probably for some problem with the audio library of the device. If this happen just payse the game or restart it.
