Add the following to "Combust/Stomp",
"Roll 2 Skill dice for this Action and
choose the highest result."
The Arena is set up as normal with each
player placing their Beast on any space
on their board edge. Decide or flip a coin
to see if the game will be in an Arena or
in the wild. If it's in an Arena, the Beasts
can gain Crowd Favour. If it's in the wild,
ignore all Crowd Favour rules.
Each turn a Beast can Move and make 1
Action, either the one in their statline or
the "Roar" action. "Roar" has no Range or
Line of Sight requirements, simply roll
Skill versus the Target’s Defence, if the
Target loses they have -1 Skill on their
next turn.
Once a Beast’s Health reaches 15, they
become Enraged, this triggers their Rage
Ability which stays in e ect for the rest
of the Event.
The event ends when one Beast reaches
0 Health. The surviving Beast is the
Winner and has asserted its dominance
if in the wild, or gets a tasty treat from
its handler if in an Arena.
This is an expansion for Brawl Arcane 28. The
main rules are needed to use this document.
BEAST BASH
Additional Event:
Beast Bash
Some beasts fight for territory and
survival, others fight because they've
been captured by Wizards and thrown
into an Arena, either way it's a rarely
seen spectacle.
In this Event, 2 players face o using
Beasts instead of Wizards and Minions.
Replace any mentions of "Wizard" in the
rules with "Beast".
Each player creates a Beast using the
rules in "Slay the Beast" with the
following changes.
Change a roll of 4 on the Rage Ability
table to "A hypnotic aura emanates from
the Beast. At the start of the Beast’s
turn roll a D6, on a 4+ the enemy Beast
takes no Actions on its next turn, but can
still Move."
Change a roll of 5 on the Rage Ability
table to "The Beast shimmers and turns
slightly ethereal. -D3 to all Damage done
to the Beast (to a minimum of 1)"
