first

play
pinball
from
inside the
pinball
machine! Follow the
bouncing
ball
as
it
careens
from
bumper
to
bumper
and
flipper
to
flipper.
Watch
out
for
wind
jets
that
will
blow
you
all
over
the
board.
3-D
PINBALL
is
realistic
arcade
fun.
INSTALLING
3-D PINBALL
STARTING
3-D
PINBALL
For
best
results,
we
recommend
that
you
copy
3-D
PINBALL
to
your
hard disk
before
playing
the
game.
3-D
PINBALL
can
be
played right
out
of
the
box
from
a
diskette,
but
may
run
slower due
to
the
large
amount
of
information
that
must
be
loaded
from
the
diskette
during
game
play.
When
you
first load
3-D
PINBALL,
you
will
see
the
main
menu.
Indicate
what
type
of
graphics
card
you
are
using by typing
[1]
for
CGA
and
[2]
for
EGA/VGA.
When
you
see
the
3-D
PINBALL
title
screen,
press
[SPACE]
to
begin.
Press
[1]
[4]
to
choose the number
of
players
and
press
[ENTER].
Turn
the
sound
on
by typing
[Y]
or
off
by
typing
[N]
and
press
[ENTER].
Choose
overall
speed
by typing
a
number
between
[1]
(slow)
and
[4]
(fast)
and pressing
If
you
play
from
a
diskette,
keep
the
original
safe
by copying
it
onto
another
diskette,
then
use
the
duplicate.
Use
the
DOS
copy
command
to
make the
duplicate.

NOTE:
If
you
are
a
WINDOWS™
user,
please
do
not
run
this
game
from
within
Windows.
Run
it
directly
from
a
DOS
prompt.
Running
3-D PINBALL
from
within
Windows
may
create
unexpected
results.
To
play
the
game
from
a
diskette:
1.
Boot
up
your
computer
normally using
DOS.
2.
Insert
the
3-D PINBALL
disk
in
drive
A:
or
B:.
3.
Change
the
current
DOS
prompt
to
the desired
drive.
4.
Type
CBS12
to
begin
playing.
[ENTER].
Ball
acceleration is
also
determined
by typing
a
number
between
[1]
(slow)
and
[4]
(fast)
and
pressing
[ENTER].Type
your
name
and
press
[ENTER]
to
begin
the
game.
The
upper
right
window
contains
score
displays
for
each
of
4
players
as
well
as
a
HIGH SCORE
display.
The bottom
right
window contains the
3-D
display
of
the
pinball
traveling
around the
pinball
table.
The
2-D
view
of
the
table itself
occupies
the entire
left
half
of
the
screen.
Use
the
keyboard
to
control
the
flippers
and
air
jets.
To
install
the
same
on
a
hard drive:
1.
Create
a
directory
called
CBS12
on
your
hard drive.
2.
Copy
the
contents
of
the
diskette
to
this
directory using
the
DOS
copy
command.
To
play
the
same
from
a
hard drive:
I.
Change
the
DOS
prompt
to
the
CBS12
directory
on
the
appropriate
drive.
2.
Type
CBS12
to
begin playing
the
game.

see

you
made the
top

score
list.

you
to
the
main
menu.
