To print your Nightside cards, set
your double-sided printer to
short-
edge binding
and print on a cardstock
material. Then, with a sharp utility
knife and straight edge, use the crop
marks as guides to trim the cards
apart.
If you don’t have a double-sided
printer, print the pages individually
and then glue them back-to-back with
a thin, even coat of adhesive. Before
glueing, hold the back-to-back sheets
up to a light source to ensure they are
lining up correctly.
The gutters between the cards give
you a little bit of leeway if the two
sides do not line up exactly.

I conjure a demon that immediately takes
the form of an object that I desire, and
then remains in that form. The object
can be complex if small enough to hold
in one hand (like a pistol or a radio) but
only very simple (like a single straight
wall) if at maximum size, which must
still fit within a small area. The object
has the same level as the spell and
disappears when the spell ends or when
destroyed. Generally, a demon object is
magically enhanced beyond the limits
of a normal item, due to its inherent
nature. In this case, the object gains a
+1 bonus to resist effects or damage,
and offers a +1 bonus to the venture of
any action for which it was designed.

I honor and give thanks to the
moon above. While the moon
is above me in the sky, all
my Sorcery-related actions,
including spellcasting, are
granted a +1 bonus. If the
moon is full, all my actions
gain a +1 bonus.

Shadowy flakes, like ash or
snow, fall in the medium
area around me. Everyone
in this area that is not me is
struck blind and loses their
orientation, so they have
no idea where I (or anyone
else) now stand. The flakes
dissipate and disappear in a
few seconds.

I gather the power of the Dark and use
it to manipulate the reality created
by the suns. On the following
round, events transpire as I wish
them to. Any die rolls are eschewed,
and instead I determine the
outcome. (Actions and events that
are impossible—and thus would
normally never require a die roll—
are still impossible.) On the round
following that, however, everything
transpires against my favor. Actions I
attempt, or that my allies attempt in
my favor, fail. Actions made against
me succeed. Further, I cannot cast
this spell again until after the sun
next rises. The world has a way of
pushing back against being pushed
too hard.

A nearby target loses their next action
as their mind is preoccupied
with a strong desire that they
already have—a temptation to do
something they feel as though they
should not or cannot. The round
afterward, they either gain a +2
bonus or take a –2 penalty to their
action, depending on whether they
feel empowered by the temptation
or ashamed of it. (This feeling
depends on the opinion of the GM,
who knows what the temptation is
and how the target reacts to it.) I
get no insight into the temptation
the target feels.

INNER TEMPTATION

7
I appear near a person that I name.
If they move farther than a short
distance from me, I reappear near
them again on the following round,
even if they use magic to move a
great distance, as long as they are
in the realm of the same sun. If
the surrounding conditions allow,
I appear somewhere hidden or
partially hidden if I so choose. If I
use their secret soul name, I also
gain a +3 bonus to the venture of any
action I take to hide from them or
move without them hearing.
Depletion:
0–3 (check each hour), or
0 (check each hour) if cast after the
sun sets
